Jeri Martinez in Tucson, Arizona

Is researching Hattersley families in the area.

Do you know who the Mary Hattersley, age 27, was who was buried at Bolsterstone 31 May 1848. There were also two children, Henry, age 1 +, buried 30 Apr 1849, and John, age 3 +, buried 9 Sep 1848. I have wondered if they are part of James Hattersley's family. If Mary Bramwell is the wife who died, was his second wife named Mary also?

Jane COOP is researching ASKEW, BATTY, PALFREYMAN.

Lyn Helps is  researching WAINWRIGHT and WATERHOUSE

I have Mary Wainwright bpt 1815 at Bolsterstone, parents given on IGI as Joshua and Ann. I presume this is a transcription mistake as all other of Joshua's children before & after Mary have Elizabeth Matthewman as mother.

Mary then married John Waterhouse of Chinley, Derbyshire at Bradfield on 25 Dec 1834. On 28 Dec 1834 (3 days later!) a Mary Wainwright christened Isaac at Bolsterstone, no father given. I presume this is the same one, as a 7 yr old Isaac Waterhouse is living with John & Mary on the 1841 census for Chinley, so why was he christened under his mother's maiden name? Where was he in 1851 as he is not in Chinley on that census? Also is he the Isaac who was christening John Wainwright Waterhouse and Harry Wainwright Waterhouse in Bolsterstone in the 1860's ?
